The Importance of Prayer
Folks that work at hospitals as well as doctors testify to the fact that those that pray have a far better rate of recovery from medical problems than those that don’t and they also have a far more positive outlook on life. Prayer is a common practice in many households today. In a USA Today/Gallup Poll 2010 it said 83% of Americans believe God answers prayers. If praying on your own can bring so much positive outcome then others praying for you can only increase the benefit tenfold. With so many of us facing hardships of life, stressed marriages, overwhelming bills, ailing parents, loss of jobs& homes, our own physical ailments as well as many more concerns. We at Broken Arrow Baptist Church want to reach out and become a prayer partner with you. We have set a side special time in our church to pray for the needs of others. Perhaps you’re a shut-in and not only are in need of prayer but also a visit. We would love to know about that need so we could connect with you or someone you know in that condition. There are times when folks go to the hospital and have no one to pray with them before surgery we would love to know about that need. Studies have shown people praying for one another helps their healing and gives hope. In the scheme of things, the power of prayer makes a really big difference. It is beneficial to your body and soul. When things are falling apart in your life remember you can have a prayer partner to help bear your burden! Prayer is a powerful tool.
